The "Confrérie de la Poule au Pot d'Henri IV et du Pays d'Arnay" was created with the Henri IV festival to promote the richness of the "Pays d'Arnay", especially the gastronomy and products of the canton.

Friendly and joyfull association, the brotherhood holds at least one chapter a year at fall; some persons who can show Arnay-le-Duc gastronomy to advantage are then enthroned and become "Compagnon de la Poule au Pot".
After they succeeded the gastronomic tests they are knighted by the Grand Master and presented with a medal and diploma.
