Arnay-le-Duc 
The medieval city of Arnay is steeped in history and rich architectural heritage (ancient houses with "échauguettes" spy holes, the medieval tour of -la Motte Forte-, the chateau des princes de Condé) and an age old gastronomical tradition including the famous "jambon persillé and other regional specialities.

Church Saint Laurent
In 1092 the nobleman Gérard d'Arnay donated the chapel which was being built in this Motte Forte château to the town, and it then served as the town's church.

Château des Princes de Condé
This was built in the 16th century by the Merlan de Beaumont family and in 1634 sold to the Prince of Condé, who restored it.
From 1865 to 1954 the building housed a factory and today it is a school for young people doing apprenticeships.
(visible only from the outside).





The Town Hall
Served as a royal courtroom and as town hall since 1795.

Building from the Middle Age with Renaissance ornements.
