CARH

Since 2007, the Cercle Arnétois de Recherches Historiques (historical research circle) has taken up the baton from the Arnay Remembrance association which was founded in 2004.
Its aim is to spread awareness for the history and heritage of the town of Arnay-le-Duc. CARH organises or participates in the organisation of commemoration events (César Lavirotte in 2009), exhibits (Regards sur la Grande Guerre at the social centre in 2014), and conferences (Général Carré Conference at the social centre on 17 December 2014 on Félix Carré and Arnay’s soldiers from 1914-1918). CARH also contributes to the publication and dissemination of books on the town’s history (most recently: Laissez-vous conter Arnay-le-Duc).
