COMITÉ DE JUMELAGE ARNAY LE DUC- WÖRRSTADT (SISTER CITIES)

Signed in 1986 by Mayor Jacques Linguanotto, the town’s sister city is Wörrstadt.  This agreement has resulted in exchanges since 1980 between the town’s Collège and Realschule.

It creates ties of friendship between associations, schools and families in the two towns.

Gatherings take place each year in one of the two towns aimed at adults as well as young people engaged in association life.

Klaus Günter Brand from Wörrstadt has been organising an international musical stay in Lacanche every year since 1981.

The 30-year anniversary of the sister city agreement will be celebrated in 2016, with a complete schedule of events.
