RANDO-CLUB DU PAYS D’ARNAY (hiking club)

– Description:

A hiking club that was created in August 2010. Affiliated with the French Hiking Federation (FFRP), it issues licences which include insurance. 2014/2015 Fees: €32 (individual licence), €62 (family licence), €40 (single parent family licence).
Excursion days: an “easy hike” every Monday (7 to 8 km), and 2 Thursdays and 2 Saturdays a month (10 to 12 km).
It also organises “Nordic Walks” and beginner’s groups.
On the weekends, it organises snowshoeing in Jura (end of January and beginning of February), a one-week walking trip (generally in May) in a French region.

– Main event: la Balade Arnétoise, every year on 1st May: a day of hiking, open to all, 3 or 4 marked trails departing from Arnay with refreshments along the way.
