WALKING TOUR OF ARNAY

The Tourist Office suggests a walking tour of Arnay-le-Duc.

 

Discover this old medieval city through its heritage (the former Saint Pierre hospices, the 12th century tower of Motte Forte, the castle of the Princes of Condé, the stately home Maison Bourgogne), its history (the old carving shop, the 1st battle and victory of Henri IV, the route of Zarafa, the giraffe given to Charles X), its gastronomy and festivals.

Wednesday mornings in July and August 2015 (starts at 10 a.m.)
Wednesday 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th July 2015
Wednesday 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th August 2015

 

Starts at 10 a.m. at the Tourist Office (place Bonaventure des Périers 21230 Arnay-le-Duc).
Duration 1 hr 30 min.
Tickets €4, €3 for children aged 8 to 14, free for children under 8.
> the tour will be given irrespective of the number of people

Show your ticket for the walking tour and you’ll benefit from a special €3.50 ticket to the exhibit ” Decorated plates, plates with stories ” at the regional art of eating museum, Maison Régionale des Arts de la Table, (fables by La Fontaine, the automobile, trades, songs, fashion, proverbs… and a number of other subjects are presented)
